Creating a Collection, and uploading images into the Collection is very easy, and can be done in a few simple steps!
Creating a Collection and Uploading Images:
Step One:
To create a new Collection simply go to your Collection Dashboard, and select +New Collection.
Once you've selected to create a new Collection, a popup will prompt you to select all desired information you would like to enter for the Collection. You can set the Collection Name, Event Date, Add A Watermark, as well as set more advanced customized Options.
Step Two:
Once you've completed your settings and clicked Create Collection, you will be able to add images into the Collection, by clicking +Add Photos.
You can also adjust the Collection Settings as needed by checking out the additional highlighted areas in the above image.
Step Three:
On the actual Upload screen, you have several options available, including your Watermark Setting (in case you want to add your Watermark during the upload process), Skip Duplicates (or Replace Duplicates), and the option to use the Flash Uploader instead of the default HTML5 Uploader.
Your options:
Skip duplicates: this option will skip over any duplicate filenames during the upload process if the files already exist in the Collection.
Replace duplicates: this option will replace the original file with the new file of the same name if it was already uploaded to the Collection.
Flash Uploader: this is another version of the Pixieset Uploader. If you are having trouble uploading, sometimes switching to the Flash Uploader can help!
HTML5 Uploader: this is the default upload option if you're uploading through Pixieset instead of using the Lightroom Plugin.
If you're happy with your selections, then you can simply select photos from your computer, or drag and drop them onto the upload screen.
Once you've selected the images you wish to upload, click Open or Select, and your images will begin uploading.
You've now successfully created a Collection and uploaded some images! When you're ready for your Clients to see their Collection, simply click on Publish and then Share the Collection as needed!
