Can I connect my custom domain with my Pixieset Website?
Provided you have a Premium Website Plan or a Suite Plan, you can connect your own custom domain with your Pixieset Website. This will need to have been purchased outside of Pixieset and hosted with a domain hosting provider (e.g. Google Domains, GoDaddy). From there, you will be able to add our DNS records to your DNS settings and connect in Pixieset following this guide.
Do you provide custom domains?
We do not provide custom domains, you will need to purchase one from a third party provider such as Google Domains, GoDaddy etc.
Do you host custom domains?
We do not host domains however if your domain is being hosted with another provider you can point this to Pixieset from your DNS Settings following this guide.
Do you provide or host custom email addresses?
Just like domains, we do not provide or host custom email addresses however if you have one that is hosted elsewhere, you can use this within Pixieset for your account/contact email address.
How can I transfer my custom domain to you?
We do not host domains and so you cannot transfer the domain to us. You will need to point this to Pixieset from your current host’s DNS Settings following this guide.
How can I remove the ‘mypixieset.com’ from my url?
Your Pixieset url is fixed and the end cannot be changed or removed. If you want to use a custom domain instead this will need to be purchased and hosted outside of Pixieset. From there, it can be pointed to Pixieset from your domain’s DNS settings so that is mapped over the Pixieset url. You can find the steps here.
Can I add a second domain to my Website?
Each Pixieset Website can only have one custom domain pointed to it. You will not be able to point multiple domains to the one Website.
What is a security certificate and how can I get one?
A security certificate verifies your Website and confirms that information passed between your site and our server is secure. We will issue a security cert for your domain once it is connected, there is nothing you have to do on your end for this.
I’ve just connected my domain but it’s not working
The DNS records you set up and the security certificate may be taking some time to generate. We would recommend leaving up to 72 hours for this to complete. You should also try clearing the cache of your browser incase older results are loading.

I’ve connected my domain but it’s loading my Client Gallery and not my Website.
As you can connect your domain to either Client Gallery or Website, you will need to make sure you connect it in the right place. Go to your Profile Icon > Domain to remove the domain from your Client Gallery.
Go to your Website builder > Settings > Domain to connect it to your Website instead.
