Account Information
Your Pixieset account details include key information such as your username and login credentials (account email and password). You can view and update this information from the Account page (Profile Icon > Account).
From the same page, you’ll also have access to advanced settings, including enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for added security, or permanently deleting your Pixieset account if needed.
Username
In this section, you can manage the username connected to your Pixieset account.
- Default URL: Your username is used to generate the default URL for the pages you share with clients, including your Client Gallery homepage and galleries, your Pixieset Website, and your Studio Manager booking site. For example, your Client Gallery homepage will be located at yourusername.pixieset.com.
- Updating Your Username: When you first create your account, your username is set automatically based on your Business Name, but you can change it at any time. To update your username, click the pencil/edit icon, enter a new unique username (usernames cannot be duplicated across Pixieset), and click Save.
Note: If you change your username, the URLs for your Client Gallery homepage, galleries, website, and booking site will update immediately. Any old links containing your previous username will no longer work. If you are using a Custom Domain for your Client Gallery or Website, your custom domain will remain connected and continue to function as normal.
Account Email and Password
Here, you can manage your Pixieset login credentials:
- Account Email: This is your primary login and the address where you’ll receive all Pixieset notifications and updates. If your account email matches your Google account, you can log in with Google. The connection between your Google account and Pixieset will be displayed here, and you can disconnect it at any time.
- Password: Your password is required to access your account (unless logging in with Google). To change it, click the pencil/edit icon, enter your current password, and then set a new one. The update takes effect immediately, and your new password will be required the next time you log in.
Account Security
In this section, you can manage the security of your Pixieset account.
- Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): You can turn 2FA on or off, which adds an extra layer of protection to your login. It is recommended to turn on 2FA to help keep your account secure. Learn more here: Setting up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).
- Active Devices: You’ll see a list of all devices and browsers currently logged in to your account, including your own session. If you notice a device you don’t recognize, click the ‘x’ beside it to immediately log it out. We recommend changing your password after ending any unfamiliar sessions.
Profile Information
Your profile details are used across your account to automatically display your business information, website, social links, and more where applicable. To review or update your details, go to the Profile page (Profile Icon > Profile). Make any changes in the relevant fields and click Save to apply them.
Business Details and Business Address
From this section, you can manage the key details that represent your business across Pixieset:
- Profile Icon: This image appears on your Client Gallery homepage and within individual galleries (unless a collection cover logo has been set).
- Business Name & Personal Details: If no Client Gallery logo or collection cover logo is uploaded, your Business Name will be displayed on your homepage. You can also add your First Name and Last Name, which will be used in Studio Manager documents where applicable (e.g., contract signatures).
- Contact Email & Phone Number: The information listed here will also appear on your homepage. If you have a contact form on your Pixieset Website, submissions will be sent to this email address.
- Website: Your business name on the Client Gallery homepage will link to the Website listed in your profile. This can be your Pixieset Website or any external site you choose.
- Biography: Your bio can be shown on your Client Gallery homepage (depending on your homepage settings). Learn more here: Managing your Client Gallery Homepage.
- Business Address: Your address determines the currency in your Pixieset Store, the available print labs and tax settings for your orders, and is required in order to send email campaigns.
Note: If you have a Studio Manager booking site, your business address, along with your phone number, contact email, website, and social links, can also appear if turned on. Learn more here: Customizing and Sharing your Booking Site.
Standards and Formats
Here you can set your timezone and the preferred date format, which appears throughout Pixieset. The timezone set here is the default used in Studio Manager, though you can manually change this for any new sessions you create.
Social Accounts
You can connect a number of social media accounts to your Pixieset profile; links to these social media profiles can be shown in your Client Gallery, Website, and Studio Manager booking site. You can add links to your Facebook, X, Instagram, and more!
To add your social profile, simply include the URL to your profile in that section and click Save.
