Your Pixieset Website link is the web address visitors use to access your site. When you publish your Website, its link uses a default mypixieset.com domain.
You can continue using this default domain or connect a custom domain instead. This article explains how your default domain works, how to update it, and how to use a custom domain instead.

How your default domain works
Every published Pixieset Website has a default domain in the following format:
yourusername.mypixieset.com
The first part of the domain is based on your Pixieset username.
Finding your default domain
You can find your Pixieset Website’s unique default address in Website Builder:
- In your website builder, go to Settings > Domain.
- Find your default site address on the Domain page.
Changing your default domain
To change the username portion of your default domain:
- Select your Profile icon > Account.
- Edit your Username.
For example, changing your username changes the yourusername portion of yourusername.mypixieset.com. The changes are live immediately.
Connecting a custom domain
A custom domain lets you use a personalized address, such as yourdomain.com, for your Pixieset Website instead of the default yourusername.mypixieset.com address.
Note: Connecting a custom domain to your Pixieset Website is available with any upgraded Website plan or Suite plan.
You can purchase a custom domain through Pixieset or connect a domain purchased from another provider:
- In your website builder, go to Settings > Domain.
- Choose the appropriate domain option and follow the prompts.
