Pixieset Website lets you share your page and block designs with other users through a simple link. Whether you are sharing a full page layout or a single block, recipients can import a copy into their own site builder to use and customize.
Note: Shared content blocks are available for any site template, with the exception of classic themes.
On this page:
Before you start
- You can share any page or block from your site builder, whether it’s published or still in draft.
- When generating a share link, your custom photos and videos are replaced with sample media by default. You can choose to include your own media if needed.
- Each shared page or block is a snapshot of your design at that moment. If you update the design later, you will need to create a new link. Existing links won’t reflect those changes.
Sharing your page design
To create a page share link in the site builder:
- Navigate to the page you want to share.
- Select ••• > Share Page Design.
- Click Create Link.
- Select Copy to save the link to your clipboard.
Note: Some content can not be shared (e.g. custom code or blocks tied to other Pixieset products like Client Gallery). These elements will be automatically removed from your shared design.
Sharing your block design
To create a block share link in the site builder:
- Hover over the block.
- Select Share in the top right.
- Click Create Link.
- Select Copy to save your link to your clipboard.
Note: Blocks with unsupported content (e.g. blocks tied to other Pixieset products like Client Gallery) won’t show the Share option.
Using a shared design
If another user sends you a shared page or block, you can import their design into your own website in just a few steps:
- Paste the shared link into your browser.
- Click Add to Pixieset Website.
- Confirm to save the design to your builder.
Depending on what was shared:
- Shared blocks are saved to your Saved Blocks section and can be added to any page when adding a new block.
- Shared pages are saved to your Saved Pages section and can be added when creating a new page.
Once added, the design will automatically adopt your site’s color scheme and selected fonts to match your branding.
Note: Saved blocks are tied to the specific version of your site where they were added. For example, a block saved while editing a draft site won’t appear in your published site’s block library.
