Fees explained
When your client places an order through your Pixieset Store, there will be fees involved as follows:
Payment processing fee - this fee is charged by the payment processor (e.g. Stripe or PayPal). Generally, Stripe and PayPal fees are 2.9% + $0.30 USD but it may vary based on your country. In some countries, if sales tax is charged on the payment processing fee, that will be included here.
Pixieset Store fees - this refers to the Pixieset commission fee of 0% on any upgraded Client Gallery or Suite plan, and 15% on the Free plan.
Cost of Goods Sold - the per-print cost involved in producing the prints at the print lab when using automatic fulfillment. This amount is sent directly to the print lab.
Shipping - the cost of shipping when using automatic fulfillment. This amount is paid for by your clients directly, and we're simply passing it on to the print lab.
Your payment processor will show the Pixieset Store fees, Cost of Goods sold, and Shipping as the "Pixieset Application Fee" as those fees are sent to Pixieset to pay the lab.
