Note: Pixieset Payments is available to users in the United States and Canada.
As you start receiving payments with Pixieset Payments, you will see them appear in your Studio Manager Dashboard. Use this guide to understand payment details, troubleshoot declined payments and process refunds without leaving Pixieset.

Viewing Transactions
To review your Pixieset Payments transactions, go to Payments > Transactions. You can click into a transaction to review additional information like the payment details your client paid with, and your net profit for the payment.

Refunds
You can issue a partial or full refund for any payment through your Payments page. When refunding a Pixieset Payment transaction, the refund amount will be withdrawn from your payout balance.
To refund your client:

Locate the payment you’d like to refund and click ••• > Refund.

Confirm the refund amount and click Refund.
Once processed, refunds can take about 5 - 10 business days to appear in your client’s bank account.
Note: If a refund causes your available balance to become negative, future payments from your bookings and invoices will be used to cover the negative balance. If these payments are not sufficient, the system will debit the remaining amount from your connected bank account.
Declines
If your client has trouble paying and invoice and their payment is declined, you can find out more details from the Pixieset Dashboard.
To understand a decline:
- Go to Payments > Invoices and select the related invoice.
- Scroll down to the invoice’s ‘Payments’ section to confirm the decline reason.
Some declines codes provide a clear reason (e.g. insufficient_funds), while others may be more vague (e.g. do_not_honor, generic_decline) and will require your customer to either reach out to their bank for assistance or try a different payment method.
