Adding your own content is the most important step towards creating your custom Pixieset Website. This is your chance to personalize your site and reflect your brand by adding your own images, and creating your story through text.
Once you have created a Page, you can easily use Blocks to add your own content. To start, you can edit the existing blocks in your chosen Page Template and simply replace sample content with your own images, video and text. Then, you can add and remove new blocks as needed.
What are Blocks?
Blocks are used to house content and create the layout of a page. Every image, space, piece of text and link is part of a Block. You can choose from the wide range of block templates below, making it easy to personalize the presentation of your content:
- Text: headings, body, columns
- Image: grids, sliders, image & text
- Content: banners, info, testimonials, pricing, FAQ, quotes
- Links: text, image, client gallery
- Video: sizes, banners, video & text
- Contact: contact forms & maps
- Social: Instagram feed & social links
- Other: spacers, lines, and buttons
When selecting a page template, there are a number of preset blocks already assigned to the page. Additional blocks can be added by clicking the "+" icon in the Content Editor, then selecting your preferred block from the list of templates.
To edit a block, click the section of the block you would like to edit in the Content Editor, then adjust the block settings in the Builder Panel.
Additionally, each block has a Block Toolbar that will show on the top right of the block in the Content Editor, which can be used to make further adjustments.
Once a block has been added to a page, it can easily be moved up or down via the Arrow icon in the block toolbar. You simply need to click the arrow icon and drag the block to your preferred slot on the page.
To duplicate a block, click the Duplicate icon in the block toolbar. A clone of the block will then be inserted in the slot immediately below the original block.
Quick Layout Tool
Selecting the Quick Layout Tool in the block toolbar will switch the layout of your block between the different options for your specific block template.
