An anchor link allows visitors to easily navigate to a specific section of a webpage without scrolling. For example, you can direct visitors to an FAQ or testimonial area partway down a page. This is especially useful for mobile visitors, as it makes your site quicker to navigate.
Note: Anchor links are available on all site templates with the exception of classic templates that use our original layout engine.

What can I use anchor links for?
Anchor links make navigation on your site easier by letting your visitors jump right to the section that applies to them. Here are some examples of how to use anchor links on your photography website:
- Showcase specific services clearly: If you list out your session options on the same page, an anchor link can lead potential clients right to the one they are interested in.
- Link to a contact form: Reduce the friction of getting in touch by adding anchor links through your site that lead visitors right to your form, no matter where it is on your site.
- Highlight a FAQ: Drop an anchor link to a FAQ section that lives further down a page, so you can address common questions without distracting from the primary content.
