Collection presets help you create consistent galleries without configuring the same settings each time. You can save settings for your collection design, privacy, downloads, store, and more, then reuse them when creating or updating collections.

How collection presets work
A collection preset is a reusable group of preconfigured settings. If you regularly create collections with similar setups, you can create multiple presets for different workflows, such as weddings, newborn sessions, or portraits.
Collection presets can include settings for:
- Design: Reuse your preferred colors, typography, cover style, and photo set titles.
- Privacy: Require a password and automatically generate a unique password for each collection created with the preset.
- Downloads: Set available download sizes and download limits.
- Store: Connect a price sheet that matches the products and pricing you want to offer.
Tip: If you’re looking to use presets to set a specific language for all your collections, you can choose a default language in your Client Gallery settings instead.
Creating a preset
You can create a preset from scratch or save the settings from an existing collection. To configure a new preset:
- Go to Client Gallery Dashboard > Collections.
- In the top right, click View Presets.
- Click + Add Preset and enter a name for the preset.
- Customize the preset with the collection settings you want to reuse.
Tip: To reuse the settings from an existing collection, open the collection and click More > Save as preset.
Applying a preset
A preset can be applied while creating a new collection. To apply a preset after a collection has been created:
- In Collections, click New Collection.
- Under Preset, select the preset you want to use.
- Click Create Collection.
Tip: To apply a preset to an existing collection, open the collection and click More > Apply preset.
