Client gallery blocks are a simple way to provide a dedicated gallery area for clients on your site, or showcase your most recent shoots with potential leads.
If you use Client Gallery, you can use these specific blocks to automatically sync collections on any page of your Pixieset Website. Any privacy measures that you have set up to individual galleries, such as a password, will still apply when visitors click on them.
On this page:
- Adding a client gallery block
- Managing your gallery block’s content
- Customizing your gallery block’s design
- Sharing specific collections
Adding a client gallery block
Display a client gallery block on any page of your website:
- Hover over the space between two content blocks and click the green + icon.
- Go to the Client Gallery category.
- Select a gallery block design.
Managing your gallery block’s content
Your published collections will show by default in the client gallery block, and can take up to an hour to sync automatically in the client gallery block. Any privacy measures that you have applied to your galleries, such as a collection password, will still be required when your visitors click on them.
Tip: If you want to hide a specific collection from appearing in your gallery block, you can toggle off its “Show on Homepage” setting.
To access additional content settings:
- Click directly onto your gallery block.
- Under Content, choose the block’s listed collections, order, and navigation options.
Customizing your gallery block’s design
A client gallery block contains additional design options to ensure your gallery thumbnails stand out. These include how your gallery thumbnails are laid out, as well as the position of your titles, spacing, crop ratio, and more.
To access your gallery block’s design options:
- Click directly onto your gallery block.
- Select Design.
- Choose a layout and its respective design options.
Sharing specific collections
The client gallery block automatically syncs your latest published, public collections, with the additional option to list collections under a specific category tag. If you prefer to showcase a static group of collections or require more granular control over the block design, you can consider setting up a link to your collections with an image link block instead.
To add an image link block:
- Hover over the space between two content blocks and click the green + icon.
- Go to the Links category.
- Select a image link design.
- Update the link block with custom images, text, and links.
Important: Image link blocks are not client gallery blocks, so they will need to be manually updated.
