Category Tags are a great way to organize Collections within your Client Gallery. You can assign multiple tags to each of your Collections, allowing you to easily sort your work into different categories (i.e. Wedding, Family, Newborn, etc.). This article will show you the options available for adding and removing tags, and where they can be viewed in the dashboard and as a client.

Adding Tags to a Collection
There are several ways you can add tags to a Collection within your Client Gallery: when creating a new Collection, from the Collection Settings, and from your Client Gallery Dashboard. With each of these options, you can include multiple tags by separating each tag with a comma (e.g. Wedding, Maternity, Family), or by pressing Enter/Return on your keyboard after you add each one.
Option 1: Creating a New Collection
When creating a new Collection, you can add tags by clicking the green text for Advanced options in the pop-up. This option is shown when you are using the Pixieset Default setting, though you can create your own Collection Defaults with preferred tags if you like. You can then enter your tags in the Tag your collection field.
Option 2: From the Collection Settings
To add tags from any Collection click Settings > Collection Settings. From there, scroll down and enter your tags within the Category Tags field.
Option 3: From the Client Gallery Dashboard
Using Quick Edit
You can also add tags to a Collection from your Client Gallery Dashboard. To add the tags, click the More Options (•••) button to the far right of the Collection title and click the Quick Edit option:
From the pop-up, you can enter your preferred tags within the Category Tags field and then click Save:
Using Bulk Edit
If you want to add tags to multiple Collections in one go, you can do so by using the Bulk Edit feature from the Collection manager in your dashboard. Use the checkmarks to select any Collection(s), and click Bulk Edit to access the popup and add any tags:

Removing a Category Tag
If you find that you need to remove a tag, you can click the ✕ icon to the right of any tag to delete it from the Category Tags field:
Note: You can remove the tag from any applicable Collections individually.
Viewing Your Category Tags
Your Category Tags will be shown on your Client Gallery Homepage, allowing you and visiting clients to filter your Collections for easy browsing:
On the dashboard side, you can use the Category Tag filter in the Collection manager from the Client Gallery Dashboard to view your tags and filter as needed:
