The cover photo is the first thing clients see when they view their collection. In Client Gallery, you can choose any image to represent the collection, update its style, and adjust how it is framed.
On this page:
Updating the cover photo
You can update a collection’s cover photo by choosing an existing image from the collection or uploading a new image from your files.
To change your collection’s cover photo:
- In the collection, click the collection thumbnail.
- Click Cover Photo.
- Select an existing photo to use or upload one from your desktop.
Note: If you upload a new image to use as the cover photo, your watermark will not be applied to that image.
Choosing the cover design
The cover design controls how your collection’s cover appears to clients.
- In the collection, click Design.
- Click Cover.
- Select a cover design.
Tip: If you want future collections to use the same cover design and other settings, consider creating a preset.
Setting a focal point
The focal point controls which part of the cover photo stays centered when the image is displayed across different screen sizes. If the main subject of the cover photo is not framed correctly, you can adjust the focal point.
- In the collection, click Design.
- Click Cover.
- Select Focal and click the part of the image you want the cover photo to focus on.
The preview updates as you adjust the focal point, so you can check how the cover photo will appear on desktop and mobile.
Using a video cover
Instead of a photo, you can use a video from YouTube or Vimeo instead as the background for your collection cover. Video covers play on loop without sound and clients can also open the video in full screen to watch it with sound.
To set up a video cover:
- In the collection, click Design.
- Click Cover.
- In the available cover designs, scroll and click More.
- Select the video cover style you want to use.
