When a client places a print order, the total turnaround time includes more than just time to produce the prints. The final delivery timeline depends on the product's production time, any order delay you've configured in your Store, and the selected shipping method. Understanding these factors can help you set accurate expectations for your clients.
Production times vary by product and are based on the specific item being ordered. For example, a canvas print may have a different production time than a photo print or greeting card.
Both you and your clients can view the estimated production time for each product before an order is placed.
Important: Production time is the estimated time needed for the lab to produce the product. It does not include shipping time or applicable order delays.

Understanding the full timeline of an order
The time between when your client submits an order and receives it depends on three factors:
- Production time
- Any applicable order delay set for your Store
- Shipping time (your client’s selected method)
Example
A client places an order today:
- Production: 1–3 business days
- Order delay: 1 business day
- Shipping: 1–3 business days
The order should arrive within 3–7 business days.
Both you and your client will receive tracking updates once the order has shipped.
Note: Production and shipping time are calculated using business days. If an order contains multiple products, the product with the longest production time determines the overall production timeline.

Is production time the same as shipping time?
No, production time is not the same as shipping time. Production time is the time needed to create the print product, while shipping time is the time needed to deliver the order after production is complete.
Can my clients view production times?
Yes. Clients can view production times for each product while browsing the Store in their collection. To see this information, they can select a product and scroll to the Product Info section, where the estimated production time is displayed.
Why is my client’s order taking longer than expected?
An order's timeline includes production time, shipping time, and any order delay set in your Store. For orders with multiple products, the item with the longest production time determines the overall production timeline.
Delays may also occur during peak seasons or due to production and shipping issues. Once tracking is available, both you and your client can use it to view the latest shipment updates.
How can I get help with an order?
