Inbox is the easiest way to email clients and centralize all your communications in Studio Manager. Whether it is an update about a session, a follow up about a document, or just a thank you note, contact your client right from Inbox and get instant notifications when they respond.

Using Inbox
Inbox is available in your Studio Manager Dashboard. To send an email to a client, simply click New Message and start a new conversation. Create custom email templates to further streamline your workflow.
Whenever your client responds, you will get a notification instantly in the Dashboard and your own email inbox, so you can pick up right where you left off. If you need to refer to a past correspondence, use the filter options or the search function to quickly find what you’re looking for.
File Attachments
Inbox supports common file types for documents, spreadsheets, media, and more, up to a total of 25 MB per message. Supported file formats include:
- Document files: .doc, .docx, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .rtf, .key, .numbers, .pages, .xls, .xlsx, .csv, .txt, .html, .htm, .xml,
- Media files: .bmp, .gif, .jpeg, .jpg, .png, .svg, .tiff, .tif, .psd, .avi, .mkv, .mp4, .mov, .wmv, .aac, .mp3, .ogg, .wav
- Other: .ics, .zip, .rar, .tar
When drafting an email, click Attach files to add your file to your message. You can share investment guides (e.g. pricing/package guides), style guides, “don’t forget” lists, or client inspiration photos, to name a few examples.
Inbox Settings
Inbox will display all your Studio Manager emails in one place. When Inbox is turned on, emails related to Studio Manager activity—such as client replies to booking confirmations or ongoing conversations—will automatically appear in Inbox.
Optionally, you can choose to include additional communication types:
- Website emails, like contact form submissions from your Pixieset Website
- Client Gallery emails, like replies to gallery-related communications
Inbox settings can be managed under Studio Manager > Settings > Preferences. Any changes will apply immediately to new conversations going forward.
Client Side Experience
When you send a message from Inbox, your contact will receive the message in their own email account’s inbox. Your contact will be able to reply directly, and you will receive their response right in Studio Manager, as well as in your own email account’s inbox. You can respond from either location to continue the conversation.
