Tips for Generating with AI

Whenever you generate SEO content in Pixieset Website, keep the following guidelines in mind for the best results:

  • Add relevant details for a more personalized touch. Pixieset’s generation tools will create high-quality, accurate descriptions based on your content. If you see an opportunity to be more specific, you can always customize the descriptions further.
  • Fill out your AI Profile. The AI Profile in your SEO Manager can influence your generated page descriptions. Choose a writing style and provide a business overview to help AI better understand your brand.
  • Publish your site after generation is complete. Your SEO changes won’t go live until you publish (or re-publish) your site. If you are generating alt text for a large number of photos, this process can take several minutes so make sure it is complete before publishing.

Generating Alt Text for Site Images

Alternative text is used to describe your site images and help search engines understand what your image is about. Save time by letting the ‘Generate’ tool create accurate, descriptive alt text. Whether you want to add alt text to an individual image or all the photos on your site, it only takes one click.

Single Image

To automatically generate alt text for an individual image on your site:

  1. Go to SEO Manager > Images.

  2. Locate the image and click into its Alt Text field.

  3. Click Generate.

All Images

To automatically generate alt text for all your site images:

  1. Go to SEO Manager > Images.

  2. Toggle on Generate Alt Text with Images.

    Note: Generation will begin in the background and may take several minutes to complete depending on the number of photos you have on your site.

Once your alt text is done generating, you can re-publish your site to push them live. Search engines will update typically within a few weeks. You can always manually request a recrawl via the Google Search Console.

Generating Page Descriptions

Your site’s page descriptions play an important role in SEO. They’re often your visitors’ first impression of your business too, since they can make up the excerpt that appears in search engine results.

With the ‘Generate’ tool, effortlessly create page descriptions based on your AI Profile and your page content. To generate a page description:

  1. Go to SEO Manager > AI Profile and fill out your business description in detail. (Skip this step if you’ve already created your AI Profile.)

  2. In the Pages section, click into a page’s description field.

  3. Select Generate to automatically create a description based on the page’s content.

Once your page descriptions are generated, you can review them. When you’re ready for them to go live, simply re-publish. Search engines will update typically within a few weeks. You can always manually request a recrawl via the Google Search Console.
