Types of cookies
Cookies are pieces of text data that help a website remember information about a visitor’s activity. These cookies help your site run optimally, and enhance your visitors’ browsing experience.
There are four kinds of cookies that site visitors can consent to through your cookie banner:
- Strictly necessary cookies (Required): Essential cookies used for basic functions that allow your site to run effectively. These cookies do not track personal data or collect information beyond what is required for your site to run, so consent is always provided.
- Advertising cookies (Optional): Cookies that track behavior for personalized advertising purposes.
- Personalization cookies (Optional): Cookies that remember visitor choices that change the way the site behaves or looks.
- Analytics cookies (Optional): Cookies that collect information on how visitors use the site to further improve their experience.
When entering your site, a visitor will have the option to review and allow each of these cookie types by clicking Manage in your cookie banner.
