At Pixieset, we try our best to make every feature intuitive, but sometimes clients need an extra hand to enjoy their Collection experience even more! Gallery Assist is an optional client help system, featuring handy Walk-through Cards and a designated Help Section (which includes video tutorials and an FAQ section).

Enabling Gallery Assist
By default, Gallery Assist is Off for each of your Collections, but you can easily enable it for each collection by going to the Collection > Settings Tab > Collection Settings. From there, simply scroll down to the Gallery Assist section and toggle the option from Off to On.
Once enabled, Gallery Assist will show helpful Walk-through Cards specifically for the features you've enabled for the Collection (i.e. Downloads, Favorites, Store, & Social Sharing).
You can also enable the Help Section to ensure that your client has access to video tutorials, and answers to some frequently asked questions for each feature. To make this change, simply click the Advanced options green text and check the box to enable the Help Section.
Walk-through Cards
Walk-through Cards are designed to introduce features available to your client within their Collection! When a client visits their Collection for the first time, they will learn a little bit about each feature and the specific icon within the navigation bar that represents it.
Help Section
Your client can access the Help Panel at any time by simply clicking the Help icon (?) on the navigation bar.
The Help Section contains video tutorials and helpful step-by-step instructions for common FAQs in relation to each enabled feature.

What if I don't have Downloads, Favorites, Store, or Sharing turned on?
Gallery Assist is a responsive feature, so it will only display content for the specific features you have turned on within the individual Collection. For example, if you have Downloads turned Off, your clients would not be shown a Walk-through Card about Downloads or see information related to Downloads within the Help Section.
How come I don't see the Walk-through Cards?
Walk-through Cards are only shown to a client on their first visit to the Collection. The cards will be shown again after a prolonged period of inactivity, or if the session expires. If your client needs to see the Walk-through Cards again right away, they can always clear their browser's cache, or view from a different browser or device.
Can I have Gallery Assist applied to all my Collections?
Absolutely! If you would like future Collections to have Gallery Assist enabled, you can do this by editing or creating a new Collection Default and configuring the Gallery Assist setting within the Collection Settings section.
Note: By clicking the Advanced Settings green text, you can check the box to enable the Help Section.
