Changing a Collection's Cover
When selecting a Cover Image, you can select an existing image within the Collection or upload a brand new image.
Option 1: From the Design tab
You can change the Cover Image from the Collection’s Design > Cover tab by clicking the Set Photo button.
Tip: You can also simply click on the existing cover image thumbnail in the top left corner of the Collection to open up your Collection’s Design settings.
From the Change Cover pop-up you can select any of the photos in your Collection or you can upload a new photo. Once selected, it will be set as the Collection Cover Photo.
Note: Your Watermark will not be applied to any newly uploaded images.
Option 2: From the Photos tab
From the Photos tab in the Collection, hover over any thumbnail > click the three dots (•••) > Set as cover.
Choosing a Cover Style
You can select from range of beautiful designs for your Cover. To do so, go to the Collection > Design, and under the Cover tab, click on your preferred design.
When you select a design, you will see a preview of how your Collection's Cover Style will be displayed on the right side. Select None if you prefer not to have a Cover Style used on the Collection.
If you would like future Collections to use the same design, you can easily edit or create a new Collection Preset and select your preferred Cover Style within the Design section!
Setting a Focal Point
The Cover Photo is designed to always center around an area of focus while maintaining the aspect ratio of the photo - the ‘focal point’. If you find that this is not focused on the subject, you can easily adjust the Cover's focal point. To make that change, go to the Collection > Design > Cover > and click Focal.
In the Set Focal Point pop-up window, click anywhere on the image to change the focal point. This will immediately update the preview, so you can see how the Cover Photo will appear for both mobile and desktop viewing.
Using a Video Cover
Adding a video cover to your collections can create a powerful first impression for your clients. You can set this up by embedding a YouTube or Vimeo video as a background for your gallery cover. These videos will play on a loop with no sound, or can be viewed with sound fullscreen directly within the gallery.
To use a video cover, go to your Collection > Design > Cover tab. Scroll until you can click the More option and choose your preferred video cover style from there. Next, click Set Video and enter your YouTube or Vimeo link.
By default, the video will be set as both the background video and the fullscreen playback video. If you’d like to add a separate video for fullscreen playback, you can check the option and add the URL to the relevant field. You can also disable fullscreen playback from this modal if preferred.
Tip: You can set a Cover photo in place of the background video for people accessing their gallery from a mobile device.
