If you need to pull the filenames for a selection of images from your Collection to locate them in your image editor, for example, you can do so using the Copy Filenames feature. This can then be used as a reference or to pull up your images in Lightroom or Capture One.
From any Set in the Collection in your dashboard, select the image or images for which you want to copy the filenames. Then, click the more button (•••) > Copy filenames located at the bottom of the page.
Once the popup opens, you will see a formatted list of the selected images. Click the Copy button to copy the list onto your clipboard.
If you know the type of file you're looking for, you can also add a specific extension to the copy list before searching in Lightroom! Simply turn on the Include File Extension setting and enter the extension name (like .jpg, or .raw for example). This list can be used to locate the images in Lightroom as is.
Note: You can use the Include Commas toggle to remove the comma delimiters if you need the list for Capture One instead. We have a complete guide to using the Capture One copy list here.
